Who we help

Who the Cloe Chihuta Foundation Supports

We meet families as partners. Our role is to remove the barriers between them and the futures they are already working toward.

Vulnerable children

Orphans, children in child-headed households and those at risk of dropping out of school — supported to stay learning, fed and protected.

Youth aged 15–35

Young people navigating unemployment and limited opportunity, equipped with skills, enterprise support and mentorship.

Women, especially single mothers

Women carrying households alone, joining savings groups, income projects and peer networks built on shared strength.

Migrant families in South Africa

Families rebuilding in Gauteng, supported with documentation guidance, school access and community connection.

Rural & peri-urban communities

Communities in Harare, Chitungwiza, Mashonaland East and Central, where distance and cost place services out of reach.

How families reach us

Referrals come through schools, churches, clinics, community leaders and neighbours. Every household is visited by a community facilitator, and support is agreed together — never assumed.

  • Referral from a local school, church, clinic or community leader
  • Home visit and needs conversation with a facilitator
  • Support plan agreed with the household
  • Regular follow-up and feedback from beneficiaries
